Joseph “Joey” Kurucz is a dedicated Knight and community member in central Indiana. His
hobbies include long runs along country roads, volunteering as a tour guide at the Benjamin
Harrison home in Indianapolis, and insect collecting. A resident of Brownsburg for most of his
life, he attends St. Malachy parish. Joey first became a Knight in 2017 and is a 4 th Degree in the
Cardinal Ritter Assembly, #3873.

Joey graduated from Cardinal Ritter High School in 2012, Marian University in 2016, and earned
his J.D. from Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2020. He first became a Field Agent in
2022, quickly learning to help brother Knights with insurance, annuities, and all other services
offered by the order. His success was great enough to earn him Rookie of the Year for 2022,
despite only starting in June. Joey is continuing to expand his education and training and seeks
to improve protection for every family in his territory, which extends across much of central and
western Indiana.

Joey’s Mission Statement: God’s children need help. Every member has his insecurities and
every wife her needs. I shall make those problems go away with kind service and the finest
protection a Knight can offer.
